Discuss alarm & cctv monitoring

What this helps you do

A defined monitoring route

Understand the role of Echelon Command Information Centre and how the proposed connection fits your site.

Agreed event handling

Clarify the contacts and instructions relevant to the events included in your monitoring arrangement.

Clear responsibilities

Distinguish equipment upkeep, connectivity, partner monitoring and any separately arranged response services.

Alarm & CCTV monitoring around your business.

Monitoring needs a clear connection between the system at your premises and the people handling its signals. AG Solutions works with Echelon Command Information Centre to discuss alarm and CCTV monitoring around your site, equipment and operational requirements. Echelon provides 24/7 monitoring; AG's IT support hours are agreed separately.

A useful starting point is understanding the equipment already installed, what events it can send and who should be contacted. We help establish the connection requirements and proposed arrangement with the partner. Monitoring availability does not itself promise attendance, police action or a fixed response time; those expectations must be addressed explicitly in the agreed service.

What we can help with.

System and site information

Gather equipment details, site requirements and existing connections so the partner can assess the proposed monitoring arrangement.

Compatibility and connection

Confirm supported equipment, signal transmission and any required changes before assuming an existing alarm or CCTV system can connect.

Contacts and instructions

Agree the relevant contact information and event-handling instructions, including how changes to those details should be managed.

Handover and ongoing changes

Establish activation checks and responsibilities for system faults, connectivity changes, equipment maintenance and updates to site information.

A useful first conversation.

Start with what you know. We’ll help you work through the technical detail.

  1. Share alarm or CCTV make, model and installer information if available.
  2. Tell us which premises and events need monitoring.
  3. Identify responsible contacts and any existing monitoring agreement.

Your questions, answered.

Who provides the monitoring?

Monitoring is provided through our partner Echelon Command Information Centre. AG Solutions handles the initial discussion and relevant technical requirements within the agreed scope.

Is monitoring available around the clock?

Echelon provides 24/7 monitoring. The service offered for your site, supported signals and event-handling arrangements are confirmed separately; this does not extend AG's own IT support hours.

Can an existing alarm or CCTV system connect?

Possibly. Compatibility, available interfaces and connectivity must be checked with the partner. Do not cancel an existing arrangement until a replacement has been agreed and activated.

Does this include an attendance or police response guarantee?

No such guarantee is assumed. Monitoring, contact procedures and any separate attendance or emergency-response arrangements need to be defined for the particular site and service.
